He's very young. We'll see where he is in five years.

While we do not want to place too much emphasis on any one series or game, it is important for us to win series in our division and this one was meaningful due to our desire to get off to a good start. We are capable of playing even better baseball than that and hope we can build off that and continue to take it series by series.

He's a high-character guy, and when he's healthy, he wins. I just thought he'd be a great fit here.

I called to tell him he was going back to Double-A after he'd been in Triple-A. That was one of my first tough calls to a player. I didn't necessarily make those decisions, but I was the one who had to give guys the news.

I've always liked and respected Paul. I've followed his career and made sure to say hello to him when he came to town.

It's safe to say our bullpen is going to be in a state of flux for the next two to three days. We're going to look at some guys and hopefully find some who will settle down the middle of our pen. There are guys down there (in the minors) who deserve an opportunity.

He's definitely an option. This is the best he's pitched in his career with us.

You hope the back end is solid. The middle will have fluctuations. It's going to have some fluctuation over the next two to three days to get settled.

We're obviously not playing the kind of baseball we're capable of playing right now. But we've got 142 games to go. We're still .500 (10-10). It could be worse, but I think it will get better.

Worry and bullpen are always in the same sentence for me. He'll be a welcome sight for us up here at this point.

I'm happy for him. We're disappointed it's not happening here, but that's just part of the game.

We want him to pitch every five days.
