I am excited about tomorrow. I didn't hit my driver quite as well today, but I made no birdies and I'm in half a state of shock about that. That just never happens to me. I can usually scrape one or two in somewhere. The good news is I hit a lot of good putts. I just didn't read them right or my speed wasn't right or a combination of both.

I made no birdies and I'm in a state of shock over that. The good thing about making no birdies is it can't possibly happen two days in a row. Maybe I'll bust out with six or seven tomorrow and that will be the story.

The good news is I hung in there and only shot 2 over without making any birdies but the bad news is I was in a position to go nine or 10 under and put some space in between me and the rest of the guys,

I felt like it was a 36-hole day. Thank God we ran out of holes. I saved my best drive and my best iron for the last hole and knew I could two-putt from 6 feet. How embarrassing to lag from 6 feet.

Admit no failings. Think positive. Stay in the present. Keep telling yourself: I'm a great player.

I didn't even think about making that one. That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness. I haven't made any all weekend, why make that one? Thank God I could two-putt.
