I feel good about the way our team is playing. I think we will shoot the ball a whole lot better than we are right now. I thought our guys were really focused on what the game plan was and what we needed to do if we were going to be successful.

A great win for us.

He was sick as a dog the night before. You would never know that the way he played. . . . I think it showed his teammates how much he wants this thing, and from a leadership standpoint, that's great.

We keep saying that we need him to come on to get his confidence level back up. We need to find him a little more inside and he needs to find a way to make himself available. But his challenging of shots and blocking of shots I thought made a big difference.

This is probably the best five- or six-game stretch Mustafa has had for us. He's in charge. He did a good job of defending hard. And he's making good decisions on the offensive end.

He has made just fantastic improvement. He's a great kid. He works hard. He has a nice shooting touch. He does a great job. It doesn't surprise me because I loved him when I saw him in high school.

Hassan Adams really came out and gave us a great effort. Hassan was sicker than a dog last night and all day but you certainly wouldn't know that watching him. His challenging of shots and blocking shots made a big difference because in the first half, when there was some obvious cases when they were going to have a lay-in, he came through and made it difficult for them to get the shots in the lane.

Obviously they gave the (technical) to the wrong guy. They gave it to Marcus Williams and that would have been his fourth foul ... I was trying to get the guy's attention that made the call to go check the monitor or something because it was obvious that Marcus was totally out of there.

I thought Mustafa Shakur did a nice job on him, worked and really got through screens, and I thought did an excellent job.

I thought overall it was a good solid effort for us. Defensively, we're doing a good job.

I'm not sure Hassan has played any better in terms of the effort he puts in. I think that shows his teammates that he really wants this thing, and I thought his leadership in that regard was great.

That year we opened the season with them in the Hall of Fame Game and finished their season for them in '97, so we've actually played pretty well against them.

Hassan had another great game. The last five- or six-game stretch for him has been possibly the best he's played since he got here.

Our situation may be different. He's had two games already, and Wednesday's loss was tough to take at home.
