I think big issue in campaign is, are you going to be a school board member responsive to the people who elected you, and are you going to lead?

We, of course, would like to see the legislature do three things. One is increase overall funding to public schools so that our school district has the resources that it needs to get the job done for all kids. That's got to be their No. 1 priority.
