She's only a sophomore and I started off playing her at No.3 singles and she only lost one match so I moved her to No. 2 (singles) and she went 9-0. Then she began playing at No. 1 singles.

Our number one team was really neck and neck with them the whole time in doubles. They've been competing with everyone and just have to make the jump [to the next level].

Besides the third match, I think this doubles performance was one of our better performances. They just do some things better. They closed into the net well and were a little more aggressive, they put the pressure on us and they were able to win a lot of the big points.

We're really close to becoming one of the top teams. We've been competitive.

I've been trying to get the team to play nationally. It should help us get going. I definitely think it should help us as the season progresses.

I'm pleased overall. After they beat us, they went on to upset Michigan, who at the time was ranked No. 22 in the U.S. So I'm happy with how we were able to play with them.

This was a great weekend overall for us. We beat two top-of-the-conference teams.

All of our singles matches were good. They were all close, and it was nice to come out on top in the second through fifth singles matches.

Gina's opponent played really well. It wasn't really a case of Gina playing any worse; it was just that her opponent played so well.

Danielle's a freshman, and there was a lot of pressure, but she worked really hard and changed her game. She was up, then down, then up again. I feel great. This was a roller coaster match. I was very pleased, especially considering they beat us last year 7-0.

We played really well. They didn't even take a set off of us.

We switched Erin to the number two position. She played much better.

We have very good depth. [We have] 11 players on the team that can all play at a high level.

It is unusual to pair freshman together. They have been very steady throughout the entire season.

Erin played well and kept battling. The match was going back and forth the whole time. Unfortunately for Erin, her opponent just hit the right shots at the right time. I thought she gave a great effort.
