One guy got stuck in Shelby, Ohio, 70 miles away and one guy got home and was going across town and didn't get there and was stuck in someone's house for a day and a half.

He was 20 feet down the road from where I was to get my guy and they didn't know it. It was a low area and the snowdrift just buried it. I'm going by in a four-wheel (drive) truck and I'm looking right and left and I'm seeing snow.

If you're worried about conditioning your team so you can start preparing your team, you are at least one step behind. If they report in shape, you can start working on being the best team you can be as opposed to getting them in shape. We feel that this is a step in the right direction.

We are going with two separate practices, one for the upper classmen and veterans and one for the younger guys. The schedule allows us to specialize and coach the younger guys individually much more. When the newcomers' practice comes in the afternoon, they will have already gone through the morning meeting.

Spadoni will be a guy that will play a little bit more football. Ali Highsmith and Kenny Hollis, those two will be moved around in those outside spots. We think we'll be fine there.

He's pretty instinctive over there. He's new to the spot but not to football. We knew he was big enough, we knew he was strong enough. Lining up at tailback is not necessarily a criteria for linebacker. Not only the athleticism, but he had toughness and competitiveness. It seemed to fit him.
