We don't talk about specifics as to what shot we should or shouldn't take. We talk about attacking and we wanted to penetrate their pressure defense.

There's a little bit of tentativeness over what to expect. When you come out and set a statement like that, I think we got them on their heels. It gave us that cushion and allowed us to relax and we fed off that.

At about Christmas time we saw some different tapes and thought Memorial was the best team in the state. I thought they had some great chemistry and some really good pieces of the puzzle.

Last year was kind of a blur.

I do hear that sometimes and it does hit me.

Andy Polka completely dominated the game.

We had a little more motivation than some of the other teams in the tournament. Certainly everyone wants to win. We had dreams. I know others had dreams too. But our dreams are awfully deep-rooted. This one is pretty special for us.

It was a decision that was made at my dad's funeral, basically.

He was on my mind all day. If there's one thing he taught me, it's OK to be emotional. And certainly, it was an emotional day.
