We'll do it the best way possible to make sure guys are physically able to go in this last quarter (of the season).

I considered (Friday) to be our first day back as a team. And I thought they practiced well. They went hard.

We're not looking to make a lot of major changes. We would like to add some depth on our blue line along with 29 other teams in this league. But we're not looking to make changes to the core.

I think our job as coaches is to make sure their heads are as clear as they can possibly be because there are so many things being talked about certain players. It's tough for a player. It's their livelihood. Are they going to pick up and move? Our job is just to try to keep them focused on the job at hand.

If you don't stick together as a team here through some of the this stuff and point fingers and simply show no fight at all? It can't happen.

We had some great opportunities. In the first half of that game, I thought we had some good opportunities. I think that's the key of the game. Both teams had some opportunities, they scored on a couple, we didn't.

This time of year, with so few games left, I still think we need to do some coaching we can't just let them run and not teach in certain areas, but in these situations you need to get the points no matter how you do it. Then we'll worry about the other stuff after.

I look at the Tucker incident. That was pretty much one-on-one and he whacked him twice, gets fined and plays the next game. Arty hasn't done anything like this. He just plays hard. Yes, he sticks out because he skates, one of the best skaters in the league, and he's big and he's willing. We feel that is a tremendous asset for our team and the league for that type of play to be going on.

We just have to keep fighting. We have to stay together as a team.

From all the reports I get from the players that have come up here, from the reports from the coaches and everybody said that he has handled himself very well in a situation where there could be a little whining. I wouldn't agree with the whining, but it happens and he hasn't done it.

I thought we played with more energy, I thought we did better things tonight. Both teams had some opportunities. They scored on a couple. We didn't.

In a seven-month season, everyone goes back to when we won the Cup. We're not even thinking about that.

No, we'll rebound. They should feel good about how they played. It's our seventh game in 11 nights against a quality team and we've got to just find positives as we go through here and there are plenty of them tonight.

I just don't like playing (Burke) back-to-back at this point in the season, so Johnny went in.

That's a tough one, I thought that we played well right on through. I thought that we played a good second half of the third period. We'll rebound and they should feel good about the way that they played, as it was our seventh game in eleven nights against a quality team and we just have to stay positive.
