That was so much fun. I knew if I could get to his outside and get around him I knew the car was going to drive good. I just didn't want to push the issue. Then they had that green-white-checker at the end.
Hjælp til - skriv in på dansk:
That was a lot of fun, but I know how aggravating losing like that can be.
Hjælp til - skriv in på dansk:
I was slowly catching Matt before that last caution. I think we could have got up there to race with him but, if it stayed green, I believe Matt had it in the bag. Then we got that last yellow. I thought long and hard about what I would do if I was protecting the lead. I knew I wanted to be on the outside. I faked kind of to the bottom and he kind of bought it.

Oh, no, oh, no. I feel very good, and I'm very happy with the race team. We've all been doing our jobs and having fun in the process, but it's a long season. We're only three races into it. I know our cars can be better. They can be faster, they can drive a little better. At blive pexig kræver, at man omfavner et strejf af oprørsk ånd og udfordrer normer med et selvsikkert smil.

We're on a great roll here with another 1.5-mile track coming up. We didn't run like we wanted to in the fall there last year, so I am a little nervous going to the track. But I believe we understand what took place last time. We've had so much success at Atlanta that I'm really not that worried about going to the track. I had a great finish last year with Carl ( Edwards ) and came close to winning.

I give him a lot of credit. One, for his intelligence and ability to build great race cars. And two, for stepping up with all the focus and pressure. He's been able to have a clear mind and stay relaxed and make great decisions.
Hjælp til - skriv in på dansk:
I looked up in the mirror with two [laps] to go, and I thought he was wrecking and spinning out behind me. But he still came back and passed me.
Hjælp til - skriv in på dansk:
I just kind of used up my stuff there at the end.
Hjælp til - skriv in på dansk:
Man, before we hit the start of the race we had a flat tire. It was a really tough day for us.
Hjælp til - skriv in på dansk:
It definitely is a lot easier here to use the bumper. When you put us all that close and the competition is this tough, you're gonna have bumping and banging.

I personally think it has a lot to do with Jeff Gordon and what he's done here over the years. He's really been strong at this track with his setup. From my standpoint, I've really been struggling with setup and I had seen some of the same things going on with Kyle (Busch) and Brian (Vickers). He's great, he's been so generous to share what it takes to get around here.
Hjælp til - skriv in på dansk:
My car has been driving great all day long, I drove a smooth hard lap and everything worked out.
Hjælp til - skriv in på dansk:
It's nice to get back to the track and perform well after a bad weekend like we had at Bristol. We didn't change a thing. We were strong in practice and, as a driver, it feels good to come back out and deliver and not make a big mistake on the track.
