We didn't play real well all season and realistically, we should have beaten them twice. They didn't hammer us. We should have beaten them twice. I think Seattle's a pretty hard-nosed, athletic group of guys that will match up pretty well.

It just shows the vulnerability of every franchise. I mean, one day you've got who you think is a franchise quarterback. And the next day, you're in a scramble to get one and solve the cap problems created by the guy getting hurt.

We changed up his fundamentals last season and it really kicked in towards the end of the season,

He has worked hard. He wants to be good. His fundamentals are so much better. He is smooth, he is crisp, and he just looks comfortable out there now.

They got some pressure on us.

When we walk out of the meeting, and it's all drawn up on the piece of paper, you don't run routes as a stick man. You run routes with a feel. You know when to sit. You know when to slide. You know when to change directions. That stuff.

I can't describe what an asset it is. You want a receiver that doesn't make movements that confuse you about where he's going -- that's kind of like trying to hit a gnat. You want a guy who's smooth. You want a guy who you understand where he's going, you kind of got his body language, and a veteran guy where you know that if you throw it, he can make a play.

I have a lot more confidence in [Boller]. Like I told him, he's got to show me confidence and I'll call those plays down there and he'll make the right decision. His first year, that was really shaky. Last year, the second half, he really came on. I think he's going to make that progression.

I have high expectations for Kyle. One reason I believe in him a lot is last year when everybody was down on him and wrote him off he handled it so well. When he really started to do some things, not once did he say, 'I told you so.' He was the same guy and that showed me he has the mental capabilities and toughness to do it. It takes a little while to build, ... It doesn't happen overnight, but I didn't think we'd struggle this badly now.
