We think Homer can be a great pitcher. Part of that process includes time in the minor leagues. Homer understands that.

I'm very impressed (so far). He doesn't look like a 19-year-old out there. He's very composed.

I was very impressed with the way he received the baseball. He's a good catcher. He gets rid of the ball quick. The more I saw of him, the more I liked him.

He hit some balls hard.

As long as I have been in baseball, he is one of the most respected and most well-liked players by his teammates I have ever seen. Everybody here really thinks a lot of him, not only as a ballplayer but as a person.

He's pitched well for us. A lot of those guys out of the bullpen have pitched well for us. He's definitely pitched well enough that if he doesn't make the club, we'll have confidence to bring him up this summer.

I like Wily Mo. I think everybody here does. But that's just part of the game. We're just trying to do everything we can to get better.
