Gold looks set to remain in its current uptrend for the moment, with fresh investment interest keen to drive the market higher.

Gold may fall as low as $462, as investors will take advantage of the recent rally to take profits.

The industrial metal should work between $250/oz to $270/oz for now before targeting $300/oz in early 2006.

The firm start in the US might be the catalyst needed for a test of $575/oz, particularly with the IAEA due to reach its verdict on Iran which could mean sanctions and would not only heighten tension in the Middle East, but could create inflation concerns if oil output was curbed.
