He didn't ask me but he can do what he wants because it's his money. I don't know why he nominated him.

It was a much nicer work today. The light is starting to go on, and in his mannerisms around the barn he's perked up a little bit. Frisco Star is not as professional as a horse like Lost in the Fog. He takes a little more asking.

I'm looking forward to getting it started again. Do I think he'll win 10 of 11? I doubt it, but it's something to shoot for.

It was too much of everything, and I knew it that morning, but it was too late to do anything about it. He was giving out all kinds of bad signs. He was nervous and tried to kick the wall when he was being shod. He was tired of it all, and he didn't want to go over there.

We won't have to get on an airplane seven or eight times to run. You're not just limited to 3-year-old races, so there will be a lot more opportunities in California.

I think there's all kinds of possibilities. It probably depends on how some of the other races play out. Two or three spots he could land in, and it's possible he could wind up with nothing. If we win, we'll put it on everybody else. I don't have a vote; I've got enough on my hands.

When you're winning, you don't have to make excuses, or when you're losing, you shouldn't come up with any, either. As far as I'm concerned, we just got outrun today.
