We don't overpower teams, but we'll battle you. This has been a very enjoyable team to coach. These are a bunch of very nice young men and, sometimes, I wish they would even be a little meaner.

It's going to be a problem for us because we don't have any big men to match up with him.

The only thing difficult about a big arena is the background. You really have to focus on the rim so you don't pick up all that background.

I sort of thought that we got out of our game plan today. You could even see it in the first half. I wasn't very pleased with the way we were playing. I thought we were hurrying our offense a little bit. That's not necessarily our style.

We went into a different offensive set that was probably more to Johnny's liking. It made me think that we probably should have run this offense more often.

We've got two guys here that refuse to lose. Unfortunately, they did [Friday], but that's the way they play. Not great stats necessarily, but they have some qualities that not a lot of players have.

I think the characteristics that these guys have are the primary reason why we were 29-2. I thought we would have a pretty good team this season. I didn't think we'd be a great team. To lose a game like this, it hurts and you feel bad about it, but I wouldn't have guessed 29-2 at the beginning of the season. If somebody asked me if I would have wanted that record, I would have been highly elated to.

Once we got the conference to a point where we wrapped it up, that's when we started thinking about the state tournament series. Whether these guys could make it or not? We're not an overpowering team, but we will battle you. I thought we could play with anybody, but we didn't really blow too many people out.

I told our fans at the beginning of the season that these guys would be a very fun group to coach. They were. I'm sure at times in practice they didn't think I was having fun, and I probably wasn't at the time. But overall, I'm not going to say I couldn't be happier. I could be happier. But I'm very proud of them.

He could impact a game in so many ways that he didn't always need to score. We don't often have a prolific scorer in our system. I was even able to hold Kenny Battle down to 18 points a game.
