Chase is the Georgia State Player of the Year and a high school school All-American. He's a forward that has set several scoring records. What I like about Chase is his all-around athletic ability, toughness and goal scoring capability.

Matt Mitchell is another type of player that we have not had here in a while. The combination of his speed, athleticism and attacking ability will pose a dynamic that we feel we've been missing.

They have had the benefit of being with us all spring and playing those positions and I think have really done well. It is just going to be a matter of getting some experience and some time.

We have spent a lot of time working on our back four with different guys at those positions, trying to get that shored up and ready. I think those three guys have the ability to really run at defenses. They are extremely fast, strong and skillful and can really break down a defense.

Adam is a guy who can play in a couple of different positions for us. I know what he is capable of up there. One thing he can do better than anybody on our team is run. He is so fast and he has unbelievable stamina.

It would be real bad if we were putting in a freshman goalkeeper in the goal and our whole back line is new too. It makes it easier when you have a guy like Burke who has been doing it for a couple of years and has some experience. It certainly eases the pain and it is certainly a good thing.

Our strategy was to obviously start with guys we felt we needed to start with. But we wanted to [substitute] as soon as we could get some guys some rest.

He's very good with his back to the goal. He's tall and can head and flick ball, and is a great finisher.

We brought in some very talented first-year defending players and a transfer. But it is going to take some time to get them organized. As for my expectations for the defense, I don't know. That'd be a better question to ask a month from now.

The start was not what I was looking for in terms of energy. I think in the second half, some things started to sink in and we took our level up a couple of notches. Once we did that, it really made a difference in our play.
