I was able to follow my game plan today and it worked, ... The score may look like it was an easy match but it's misleading because in every rally I was trying to figure out how to put pressure on her. In the end I was successful and I am so happy to be in my first Tier I Sony Ericsson WTA Tour singles final.

Some mistakes, more than usual for me. I didn't pressure her so much. This is the big difference between win and lose. She organized much better than me in the final.

I don't want to make excuses. I just lost and I will learn something very important.

Something very personal. To prove myself, to keep going and believe in myself. It's not just a trophy for me. It's all that I did to arrive there. It's the most beautiful present that I could receive.

Even though I didn't win, I'm very happy with how I did this week. I didn't feel so comfortable coming in after Miami, but to make it to the final is something that I can be happy about.

Considering the player I was up against and the problems I had to overcome, I would say this is my most beautiful win of my career.

But she is good, ... It was the first time that I saw her and I just tried to do my job. I had to run and to fight.

It was very tough, but I was tired because I had problems with the flight and it took me 40 hours to get here from New York.

I'm looking forward to playing against Francesca, ... We are very good friends, so even if she beats me, I'll be happy for her.

You just fight. In the first set she just had that little bit extra, and it was the same for me in the third.

In the second set I tried to serve better and to do better with my return and make her play what she doesn't want. I tried to run faster, but it's not easy when she hits the ball with such good timing.
