It's been hard to get Mo and Barry in the same lineup all year.

I have to say I haven't seen very many guys like that. At 20, that delivery, that breaking ball, that power and that changeup, you have to go back to the days of Tom Seaver.

The games are getting smaller (in number) and bigger in importance.

Our starting pitching wasn't what we thought. (Jason) Schmidt started opening day. Kirk Rueter was the second day. Then (Brett) Tomko, then Lowry. Then the whole picture changed. Rueter's not even here now. Tomko is in the bullpen twice. Lowry is our No. 2, and we don't have a No. 3. We have three children we could throw in any order.

It will energize the crowd and the team. He does not have to hit home runs. It is the fact that he will be in the lineup. Not only will the people attending the game be watching, but people all over the world will be watching.

I played with Hank Aaron. Stuff started to happen ? hate letters, fans in the stands.

Anytime Barry is up at the plate, he's a threat. Opposing managers have memories of the times he's beaten them. They are going to walk him. Mo, or whoever is batting after him, has to do what he did, hit a line drive.
