It was a typical first game. It wasn't very clean, but we got through it all right.

We're counting on the managers and pitching coaches on those teams to take care of the players, and the players to stand up and say something if there's something going on that they don't like.

He has a real live arm and a fastball that shows life in the zone. He plays catch with the catcher and has some zip.

We won't have the starters play as much early (in the exhibition schedule), but they will play a lot late.
