I have to play better.

We set the play up and we thought we'd give it a shot. With Plax's size and speed, all I did was throw it up and gave him a shot.

Knowing how many things are going through their heads — not knowing what they're going to be doing in the future and what's happened to their homes and their families — it shows that even though football seems like a little thing, to them it is important, ... It gives them motivation and something that, even if it's just for a few hours on a Sunday, gets their mind off things so they can cheer and have fun. It's something special.

I was looking forward to playing in the Superdome, though. Hopefully I'll be able to play there in the future.

I don't know if it was rust, ... I think it's a matter of getting your timing, playing fast football, and just getting back and used to the speed of the game.

Obviously it was a special game. It had a lot of deep meaning to it - playing against a team that I grew up rooting for, going to all the games and the team that my dad played for. Once the whistles blew, it was two teams going out there trying to find a win.

Last week I might have been a little rusty. I hadn't practiced those two weeks before with the (shoulder) injury. We got off to a great start, 14-0, we just have to stay more consistent. We had some missed throws, just little things that are holding us back.

I commend them on their effort. They're playing with a lot of people behind them. In this league, you take wins when you can.

Obviously getting two touchdowns, you can't get much better than that and you hope for that every week. It's a good thing to have that weapon. Even if they don't score, but they give me good field position, that's a help.

I thought I made some more throws that I stuck in there, moved around the pocket to buy some time, made some good decisions. Still, you only get a few opportunities to hit those (touchdown passes) and when they're there you've got to make them.

We have a tough challenge. A tough team is coming in. They are going to be playing with a lot of emotion, and they've got a lot of good players on that team.

I'm happy where I am, ... I made the right decision. I know I did.

My dad got brought into the situation, and he was getting a lot of bad credit and being harassed quite a bit, ... He wasn't a part of this. It wasn't his decision. He didn't talk me into this. It was my decision. It was my thoughts. He had nothing to do with it, so I'd like to clear that up.

I'm sure I'll get booed, and that's just something I'll have to deal with, ... It shouldn't cause a big problem for me. I have to be focused on what my job is and execute the game plan and make good decisions and try and put points on the board.
