I was a little dubious about introducing this to the lake country. On the Iron Range, it's in their blood.

Luke was the only golfer in the two days to shoot under par. His nearest competitor was the young man he was playing with on Saturday. They started out tied and that's why they were paired together.

It just makes me feel so good. I think about the lives saved over the years.

On the first day, Luke was steady. He came back even steadier on the second day. In golf terms, he hit the fairways with consistency. He hit 25 of 36 greens and the greens were pretty challenging. They had cut them and then they double cut them so they would be a little bit quicker.

He was in control of that real well. He putted a lot better on the second day because he was a lot closer to the pins.

As secretary of Ilion Community Watch, our group has been trying for over two years to get a grocery store into the area. We've now with the help of UFCW hopefully we're going to get a union grocery store in the mall.

We suspect that high winds broke the pipe that holds the ramp.
