It was the best I've ever seen him wrestle.

We were ready for quickness. We weren't ready for lightning.

David wrestled his heart out. He did everything in his power to beat that kid. But the kid beat him. It was a very impressive display.

The combination of speed and strength was just a little too much for us. He (Harris) was probably the best athlete in the tournament.

We told Dave at the restaurant that Harris is really quick, and that he needed to stay low and attack at angles. We told him not to chase Harris around the mat. You have to give Harris credit though. He'd keep backing up and backing up and backing up, and then he'd hit a double leg that was quick and very deep.

I'm proud of both of them. Now the goals have been set. The people coming back to the team know what can be attained.

On a college scale, he said he looked like a seven on his way to becoming a 10. Dave hasn't even tapped into his full potential yet.

Matt has an inherent quality where he always knows that he's the toughest guy on the mat. His semifinal win was the biggest of his career and the biggest for our program.

It's all about family orientation. It means the team comes first.

Dave is very good defensively on his feet.

Pete has come on very strong lately. He's finally figured out how to wrestle instead of just brawling.

I wasn't really sure what to expect coming into the season. I knew David had talent, but I certainly didn't expect him to be undefeated this late in the season.

We have gotten a lot better as the season wears on. We probably won't win the WPIAL, but we could probably make some noise in the playoffs if we continue to improve.

Dave hasn't been taken down all season. That's quite an accomplishment.

To win a Brooke title is quite a task, and he did it with relative ease. Dave has faced a lot of kids from West Virginia and Ohio. We also wrestled at the Wheeling Park Duals [which took place Dec. 28-29] and Dave won all nine bouts.
