Everything you could possibly think of went wrong. It was definitely a year to forget -- for every Dodger player and fan.

I'm going to be out there Monday no matter what, but it is what it is. People get sick all the time. Throwing from the third-base side, I wasn't able to consistently get balls inside (to lefties), especially with how far I throw across my body. The difference isn't just in the fact the results are different, but I just feel like I have more command to the outer half against right-handers and to the inside against lefties. It's not like I'm going to pitch like (I did today) every single time. But it gives me a better chance.

I talked to her and asked if this was an appropriate relationship to have with someone you cover. To me, it's a conflict of interest. I don't think you can have a relationship with someone you're paid to report on. She said she had no problem with it.

It's fun to be able to go out there and feel like you have a better chance of having success.
