I know somebody from university who's called Phil Collins and I think there's something terribly unfortunate about sharing a name With somebody who either is famous or becomes famous.

We're going to make another series with lots of new characters and old characters together.

When I was at school I was watching The Young Ones,

I was probably about 12 and The Young Ones wasn't meant for 12-year-olds, but there's always that element in kids where they want to watch the naughty comedy that's not for them.

And then there is a certain amount of magic which is difficult to explain as a science because it isn't. There is a certain chemistry the two of us have writing together, which obviously creates something better than us apart.

We hope the Little Britain audience who like us will come with us on that journey.

I would recommend that anyone who wants to do comedy on TV to do radio first.

People feel they know me because of my Little Britain characters - But I'm not a Little Britain character. No one knows what I'm really like.

I love wearing drag.

I'm terribly attention-seeking. It's very different once you get all this attention, though. Because then you want to control it. And you can't exactly.

I don't get recognized much, and am very happy with that. The fans I have met have all been delightful.
