He's banged up and sore a little bit, but the good news is that obviously there's no breaks and no surgery will be needed. As soon as he can start catching and jogging, we'll get him to do that and then ease him into practice as soon as he can go. But he'll probably be riding the [stationary] bike [Friday].

He's been catching and running the last few days, but this was the first day he came out in full pads and got in the mix to some degree. The only thing he didn't do was tackling (full contact), but he did everything else.

We'd like to do some things, but I don't think we've got a Jason Taylor (Dolphins defensive end) on our team. And (Weis) will be facing the same thing. ... There are things we know about each other and what we'd like to try to do. Can the players go out and execute it? We'll see.

You can only do what your players can execute and have time to comprehend and learn, ... So for me to think we're going to do a lot of the things we're able to do with the Miami Dolphins defense is unrealistic. And it's the same thing Charlie is going through.
