I don't know quite as much about Cincinnati as I'd like. I think we know enough to know that defensively, we've got to stop them in transition.

I can just tell you there was nobody I recruited more. Nobody knew his high school coach more. Nobody had him on his campus more. Nobody offered him sooner. Why he went out of state, you'd have to ask him.

(Downey)'s exciting to watch, much like an Allen Iverson is. We've to make sure we don't watch him, we guard him. James White, we know about because he played at Florida. He has a propensity and a knack for getting open and getting shots.

We're really right where we were at most of the year. The difference being, when trouble comes, and it will, we don't have a bench to go to if the trouble lurks in the post. We don't have a big guy to go to.

Our team showed great resolve. Both teams were short on bodies and had not a lot of depth, but neither was short on heart. We feel proud to come out a winner.

He's really persevered, done a great coaching job with great class and great dignity. You could see the warmth he received, he received it with great humility. No chest bumping or all of that. I'm not trying to get in their business, I just know about him as a person and him as a coach.

All of our games are like that. But this is a group that is blessed with great resolve.

I'm excited, pleased, happy, motivated, and want to do well up there again.

The bigger lesson is you affect the things that are still possible. And you do it in a positive way.

It doesn't look like it, but I think I've got one more week left in me. What a week that was, no question.

Our team overcame more obstacles last week than any team in my memory that I've been involved with. To have our team remain above all that and play as well as they did and win, I think our team deserves a lot of credit. They certainly have every right to be proud of what they have accomplished up to date.

Any team that goes into the NIT goes into it with something to prove. It's not always, 'We should've been in the NCAA Tournament.' Sometimes you try to prove you're better than what you've shown all year long.

Those kinds of things set you back. I think Rick knew this year was going to be a different year for him.

If not for golf that day, I don't know if he'd of known about us wanting to do that.

I enjoy the NIT. I don't know if anyone wants their legacy to be he was a great NIT coach, but by the same token, when you're given the opportunity to play in the tournament, you're excited about it.
