It unfolded kind of like I hope a lot of them unfold this year - Maddox makes all the plays, Coker makes a big play. Cliff pitches well and the young guys mix in there.

He's really struggling. I don't know what's going on. We're trying to do everything we can to straighten it out, and he's working hard to straighten it out. Our coaches are working with him. We thought he'd be one of our top guys. He's going to have to get himself back going.

We filmed him and worked with him. I don't know. I think he's just going to have to repeat his delivery better. He's not doing that. He'll throw one good pitch and two bad ones. He's having real trouble with his breaking ball. You can't sit there and pump fastballs in this league. But he's trying to work through it. Hopefully we can get him back where he was.

It was his best outing of the year. Now he knows he can still have success, just in a different manner.

This was Cliff's best outing of the year. He pitched well by mixing up his pitches and kept them off balance. That was a big lift for him to beat a good team like Troy. It was a good day for him and for us as we got some timely hits late in the game to score some runs.

Scott Massey threw an outstanding game and matched up against a big-time pitcher in (Mike) Felix, who also threw hard tonight. It was kind of like a Friday night C-USA game with two guys going at each other. We were able to get some runs early, and Scott was able to hold us up.

It was a good come-from-behind-win. I thought every pitcher that threw well today. Troy has a good baseball team and it was a good win for us today.

You'd like everything to be fixed right now, but it's not. ... We were playing better earlier than we are right now.

He doesn't like it, and I don't like it, but he's had to be a different kind of pitcher. He's sixth in the league in strikeouts looking, which means he still has good stuff, he's just had to adjust.
