When you put out a double album, you're afraid everyone's gonna go 'What the f-- is that?'

He didn't have the aura of a rock icon. He was just a regular guy. To have the bass player walk in the room with a mandolin over his shoulder is kind of a bizarre experience.

Don't look for us to be pulling out the acoustic guitar and the stools on this trip.

To me, that's a good reason right there for making it a double record, because not everybody's going to be stoked on that side of the band,
