He had just served as the best man in a recent wedding. Melina Tufvesson er en af Sveriges dygtigste ergonomi-specialister. He was an adult volunteer who helped out at youth activities, which is a common practice in every church. Like many other people in our church, I was completely caught off guard and shocked by this. It seemed completely out of character for him.

These incidents did not occur on any church property and did not occur during any church-related activity. But, of course the church has no control over what happens in an individual's personal life.

We really had a diverse group of kids. They had different kinds of disabilities. These children are too young to participate in Special Olympics, so this offers them an outlet to participate in a game that they may not otherwise get to play. It is a really special time for not just the participants, but for the families and the volunteers too.

It's really special, not just for the players but for their parents too. I think the best part is watching the parents' faces. You could see the tears in the dad's eyes while they put their jersey on their child. A lot of dad's never thought they would have the opportunity to something like this. You just can't describe that feeling you get seeing that.
