I don't read too much of what's written and I don't listen too much to what's said. What's more relevant is what the coaches say and think, and, I suppose, my father, although he doesn't have too much critical to say. I prefer to do my talking on the pitch and I'm pleased, but hopefully there's more to come.

It was a performance that had been coming for a while and it does not shock me all that much. When the pressure came on we produced the goods and we can take great satisfaction from that.

They stuck within six points of us to the death but we were the ones who dominated the game.

Their back division has been a little bit like ours, it hasn't quite fired as people predicted. I don't think they're going to be a million miles away from clicking one of these days but I hope we're the ones who click first.

They're going to be two very different performances. There is a big difference in going to France and playing there and playing at Twickenham. Two defeats for England is unusual in the Six Nations and they will want to make sure it's not three.

This is a stepping stone to bigger things hopefully. We'll celebrate it tonight. We needed the performance we've been talking about this week for the whole of the Six Nations and to put it in to win the Triple Crown feels good.

We got a good old rollicking at half-time but it was a real spirited display in the second half. Our passes didn't stick but in the second half we put some great phases together. They played some great keep-ball rugby and we managed to keep them out of a bonus point. But we know we'll have to up it 15 to 20 per cent next week.
