It definitely means a lot to split here,

Roy threw great tonight. We needed him to win the game. After (Wednesday) night, we felt great to split now.

When Roger pitches, you expect that just about anything can happen,

When he strikes somebody out to end an inning, there's just an explosion of applause. Not that it's not loud when any of our pitchers gets a strikeout to end an inning. But when he does it, it's different. They play 'Rocket Man.' Everyone's screaming. It just feels so perfect.

Every time he pitches, ... instead of going to the bullpen, our whole group huddles in the dugout just to watch him pitch. It's something our bullpen has done since he started here. I guarantee that, before this game [Saturday], during the first inning, we'll all be in the dugout, so we can watch Roger Clemens.

We needed it to be perfect and we got it. They rolled it and it was an awesome play.

This is a bump in the road, but there's no way this is going to get anybody down, ... This will sting a lot tonight, but when I wake up tomorrow I'll be ready to go

The first pitch was a slider. I tried to repeat the same pitch and I left it up in the zone.

You can't really escape it right now. It provides fuel to get out there and do better.

Yeah, they obviously have a tremendous pitching staff. Just watching their games on TV, it's amazing that their starters have been able to do what they have done and they seem to get stronger at the end of games. Even if they give up a couple of runs at the beginning or middle, they seem to finish up stronger.
