Garrett Mock impressed me quite a bit. He throws pretty hard -- little breaking ball, changeup. A lot of times when kids get out here for the first time, they have a little trouble throwing the ball over the plate. But, boy, he got right after guys and gave the appearance that he belonged. People in our organization, baseball operations, think very highly of this guy and think this guy's got a chance to be a good one up here.

Anything's possible. But just looking at what we saw last year, maybe he needs more seasoning. Believe me. This is a guy that we feel like is going to be here for a long time once he's here to stay.

We felt coming over he's a guy that can pitch in any role. But we always looked at him as a starter.
