Coming into the league, that's definitely one of the goals I set for myself, ... The coolest part is that it's my second year and I'm going to be up there with the best players in the league. It's exciting.

We got off to a little bit of a slow start but now we're playing good basketball, ... It's important that we keep it going and put ourselves in a good position for the playoffs.

We were just ice cold in the first half. We were doing a good job executing our sets but we just weren't making the shots. In the second half, we were able to get going a little bit and create some momentum.

That's great. Bob better get to work and get some stuff going because she's coming in with a bang.

She's our missing piece. We didn't have a point guard we could rely on. She can rock anybody.

She changes everything when she's out there. She doesn't allow you to play your regular game because even when she's not blocking shots, she's making you change the way you shoot.

I'm going to use this disappointment as motivation for getting better, ... It was a hard year, the whole year, I'm not going to lie. I don't feel that I have played like I'm capable of playing.

That's my running mate right there, ... Temeka had a great rookie year, and she's only going to get better. We're all going to get better. I love this organization, and I think we have a bright future.

I can't say that it's been any one thing that you can point to and say, 'That's the problem,' ... It's a lot of little things that add to the bigger picture. Defense wins games, and we haven't been playing it. We've been very inconsistent. Offensively, the continuity hasn't been there. It's one or two passes and a shot goes up. Our execution hasn't been there, and that's why we've lost some of these games that we could have won.

It would be very disappointing, very disappointing. But sometimes things don't work the way you want them to. Sometimes, you have to go through valleys to achieve good things. But right now, the season is far from being over. The only scenario I'm looking at is us needing to win these last three games. We can do it. I have no doubt in my mind that we can. We just have to put it together.

Getting Smith was a major move for Detroit. She's a great player. But we can't get caught up worrying about what other teams are doing. We have to win games. That's it.

My intensity level and my mindset was at a different level tonight, ... That's where I've been trying to get to the entire season and I finally made it.

They were just one game out of first in the West and we knew they were going to come on strong in the second half.

It's going to be tough. It will say a lot about where we are as a team. It will say a lot about where we end up this season. This is a big trip, no doubt.
