The thing Brick showed in Mobile is that when there's competition, he shows up. He was well-appreciated for the fact that he was the highest-rated player in years to show up and play.

He's a no-maintenance, no-baggage player. On top of that, he's a very skilled player.

Every response from what he's done as a player and as a person has been positive. He's quite a package.

I don't think you'd call him one of those knock-the-wall-down guys, but he is what the quarterback needs to be, and that's accurate.

He's got real focus, but he's always very calm in terms of game circumstances as well as his own personal circumstances. I think he projects that very well, that sense of purpose and focus but calm at the same time to his teammates also.

Winning this game would have done us a lot of good, ... But I'm consistent in my thinking that they're all one. They don't build and they don't subtract. Each week is its own challenge.

Other than the building itself, there's little about the Jets that's the same as it was when we were there. So I don't really know enough about the team to be able to speculate as to how he might fit in. He's a very adaptable guy and his poise and self-confidence enables him to really fit into any environment, and he certainly did that very easily when he went to Atlanta.

I wouldn't say that's what he bases his game on, but he has good athletic ability and good sense of how to use it.

We all understand that this was a good win for us, ... It wasn't a season-ending win. There are more games to come, and to make this really worthwhile we need to be ready to win again.

Last week, we didn't really care what anybody said about us, ... We don't really care this week. We know what we have to do this week to keep it going. What we care about is winning and losing, and staying together as a team, and trying to play the kind of sound, solid, tough, aggressive football that we like to think is our trademark.

It's a good win for us, but it's important for us to remember that each week is its own week, and each game is its own game, ... We have another challenge coming up next week. If we're not successful with that, then all of a sudden this win will seem very hollow.

There probably haven't been too many games played by a Virginia quarterback like that one, ... It says a lot about him. This kid has a lot of attributes, but guts is high on his list. He's got a lot of heart and he cares deeply about this team.

They have you under siege most of the game, particularly if they're able to get the lead, then they can really turn it loose. The disruptive nature of their defense historically has caused games to fall apart for the opponent.

What we really need from an overall personnel standpoint is we need our veteran players to play better and we need our younger players to step up,
