We typically as we have built this organization have used this as a dry-run for general election, get people up and ready, get teams up and running, find out where we need to do some things.

I threw my fastball for strikes a lot better than I did the last time out. I felt more relaxed today. It felt like a normal start. I got myself in a routine. My best pitch was my fastball. It was pretty good with from both sides of the plate. I was keeping it down for the most part.

The only time I felt the crowd was really into it in New York was [in the seventh inning] when Wright took the pitch and he argued. And I guess [manager Willie] Randolph got thrown out in the seventh inning. And then I hit Cliff Floyd on the next pitch. That's when they started to get into the game. Besides that, it didn't feel any different than the last time out.

Why don't you come out here where the real people are?

The penalty is definitely one that fits the crime.

Most people don't take that kind of cash with them.

It's so great being back, part of the team and part of the program. It brings back so many great memories, and it's just so much fun to be back.

I think I bring a different perspective because I've been in their seats, I know exactly what they're going through. It was only five or six years ago I was experiencing the same exact things they're experiencing, certainly from a soccer perspective, but also the challenges of schoolwork and social life, and everything that goes into being at Penn.
